Nipîy Tu is hiring an interim Executive Director

Nipîy Tu Research and Knowledge Centre (NTRKC) is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our non-profit organization as it transitions from development to operational phases. The Executive Director will have overall strategic, financial and operational responsibility for the operations of NTRKC, including fundraising, staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. 

The position overview is as follows:

✓ Part-time contract position with flexible hours (minimum 24h/week - maximum 30h/week)
✓ Remote position with frequent travel to Fort Chipewyan, AB and occasional national/international travel
✓ $160,000 - $200,000 pro-rated annual salary, commensurate with experience
✓ Contract position for up to a three-year term, with possibility of extension
✓ October 2023 expected start date
✓ Application closing date: August 3, 2023

The Executive Director will support and report to the Board of Directors, and will be part of and supported by a Development Team consisting of an Action Plan Coordinator, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Science and Monitoring Coordinator, and Community Engagement Coordinator.
