Nipîy Tu field station currently in development in the Quatre Fourches

Development of a field station in the Quatre Fourches is currently underway in partnership with Parks Canada Agency (PCA). Once completed, the field station will be utilized for monitoring and research activities. It will support on-the-land programming by the communities and other cultural activities.

The conceptual design of the field station was developed by Taylor Architectural Group based out of Yellowknife, NWT. The field station design and construction is being led by Dillon Consulting Ltd. The design work is supported by a Design Working Group comprised of community members and Elders from each of the  communities.

Expected project completion is in the fall of 2024.
